Whitemoney accuses his ‘Shine Ya Eye’ Social media account handler of defrauding him

Hazel Oyeze Onou, also known as Whitemoney, is a prominent Nigerian musician, songwriter, and reality TV program (Big Brother Naija season 6) winner. He recently related a traumatic experience with the “Shine Ya Eye” edition’s social media handler who conned him.

Whitemoney admitted that he felt let down by the occurrence to his housemates during a talk they had on Friday night.

As a result, he had to confront the challenges on his own for the first six months after leaving the reality program, without the help of a team.

He acknowledged how difficult working alone without a team was, and that it had taken a toll on him. As a result, he sought counseling to help him deal with the issue.

He said; “My handler, Promised, embezzled my money while he was in the [Shine Ya Eye] house. So, I had to work alone for the first six months post-show. It was very tiring and had me needing a psychologist.”

During the “Shine Your Eyes” season of Big Brother Naija, Whitemoney’s social media handler was widely praised for capturing Whitemoney’s best moments in the house and keeping fans who couldn’t watch the star live up to date.
